Cars

The suave understated elegance of the sleek silver Aston
Martin DB5, as shown in it’s 1960’s James Bond 007 film debut,
a marked contrast to the functional styling of the popular Morris
Minor Traveller with wooden struts and body painted in teal blue.

The beautiful curving lines of Jaguar’s stylish E Type is based on
a sports model that won the Le Man’s 24 hour endurance race,
styled in scarlet red with silver spoke wheels, the large reliable
engine meant that the other cars were gradually outpaced.

The British designed and built Aerial Nomad all-terrain buggy, fun,
speed and power encased in a distinctive bright orange roll cage,
the versatility and resilience of the internationally renowned Land
Rover Defender, the robust design hardly changed despite it’s age.

The excitement of the annual World Rally Championships where
finely tuned cars, fast reactions and excellent map reading’s a must,
skill is required to drive around Kielder Forest’s dirt racks, a power

slide around a sharp left corner leaving a conspicuous cloud of dust.

Immaculately lined up on the starting grid waiting for the five bright
red lights to extinguish, the excitement and glamour of Formula One,
the modern buildings of the Abu Dhabi’s marina course are completely
transformed by purple and blue lights when the desert sun goes down.

In the early days of motor racing, open topped road cars challenged
each other on the unique steep curves of Brookland’s race track,
a rocket shaped Napier Hamilton in the lead, closely followed by an
Aston Martin, Bentley and a sporty Bugatti just behind at the back.

The Ford Mustang, a distinctive American classic with a galloping
horse logo and the bonnet’s characteristic bold white stripes,
nothing beats a summer’s day with the window down enjoying a
winding road and the sound of the engine from the exhaust pipe.
